Are you scratching the layers of your needs?
I set out to write daily, but then I felt the need to pause and take a break. I did just that. Had time to reflect, on myself and humanity as a whole.
One thing keeps coming back — we all have deep desires and purposes for the greater good (because nothing gives us more joy than playing a role in a bigger purpose). Still, these have been submerged in our pursuit to survive in the rat race of the economy and our conditioned desire for instant gratification.
I don't have the answers but maybe take this as a reminder to ask yourself what you really want. 'This is fine, that is great, but what do I want the most? Am I working towards that? Is this job merely about the pay, or is it aligning in any way with my deep desire for fulfillment? What does fulfillment even mean to me?
If we do not seek these answers, we continue to feel like something is missing, and we try the short-term fixes but the absence never goes away.
Good morning.
