What comes to your mind you hear the word ‘philosophy’? Some long-dead famed thinker from Greece or some old professor? You should look in the mirror too. Maybe you have not yet identified it in clear terms but we all hold a view of the world, of how things and people are / should be, and what some fixed truths are.
Sometimes they come to life in the comments we make. “People are like that…”, “there is nothing you can do about…”
From everyday life to politics, religion, and business, it is important to check with ourselves what our deeply rooted views are. Step 2 is checking if they will do well to serve us in the long term. If they won’t, then we begin the work of fixing them. If they do, it’s time to own them more.
