It comes from no other place than the greatest book I ever read — The 8th Habit, by Stephen Covey. It’s the habit of finding your voice and helping others find theirs. It would go on to become a life purpose for me.
It begins from unraveling the four dimensions of human needs;
1 — Physical/material (we all pay attention here — salaries, discounts, food, etc)
2 — Social/emotional (think friendship, sense of belonging, and culture)
3 — Mental (the desire/need to learn, and to be listened to)
4 — Spiritual (the longing to belong to something noble and bigger than one’s self)
People trying to lead, sell, and influence others at the highest possible levels must ponder on how they cater to themselves, and others, on these four dimensions.
👩🏾🦱 Someone to follow on the internet today: Oluwatosin Olaseinde (a happy soul and impactful human helping to change how we think about, and master money in Africa. I am so proud to know her).
🎶 Music recommendation for the day: Dupe by Asake (my fiancé plays it every single time, that’s why).
