This year, I did the most. And it feels like 3 years' worth of experiences. I tried so many things. I learned to play the piano. I led a significant model switch within our agency, took a job as a chief brand officer, raised money for a digital product, wrote a daily newsletter for a while, wrote a book, and so on... it's a long list. I started playing flag football at some point and I just didn't continue. I took boxing classes for a month and then hung my gloves. Was I confused? Maybe. But did it help me come up with some of the best ideas possible? Absolutely, yes! My mind was unstoppable, because I never stopped moving and doing, and very importantly, taking moments to reflect and relive each experience.
In 2023, I will streamline many things, but whatever clarity and consistency you see from me in the new year will be thanks to a lot of exploration I did this year. And I would explore further too.
Sometimes don't overthink. Just do, and then undo.
PS. I am currently unable to access Twitter, and I guess their support is down. So yeah... in case you were wondering.
The book I wrote?
Looking at the feedback I have received so far for it, it sits on top as the best thing I did this year!
Well done Victor. You certainly are not afraid to start an hobby or task and pause or stop when it wasn't working. You never allowed it stop you from exploring too. It's a trait to admire.
